TICKNER, Miss Kate Elizabeth

1862 - 1925

Born at Adelphi Place, Ipswich and baptised at St Mary at Quay, Ipswich on 6 June 1862, daughter of William King Kidner, an accountant, and his wife Elizabeth. In 1871 an 8 year old living at Christchurch Street, Ipswich with her parents, 34 year old William and 30 year old Elizabeth, with four siblings, William W. 10, Alice M. 5 and Edith M. 2. By 1881 they had moved to 47 Key Street, Ipswich with the addition of two more siblings, Blanceh M 9 and Leonard K. 7. She exhibited at Ipswich Fine Art Club from 47 Key Street, Ipswich who in 1883 'Vase'. She married at Ipswich in 1889, George Alfred Hake, who was born in Devon, and in 1891 a 28 year old, living at Rothbury Terrace, Heaton, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Northumberland with her 30 year old husband, George, a Lloyds ship & engineer surveyor, and their 1 year old daughter Kate Isabella, they had two further children George Reginald born 1892 and Cyril Marriott born 1894, both at 29 Rothbury Terrace, Newcastle on Tyne. She died at Erpingham, Norfolk in 1925 and her husband died at North Walsham, Norfolk in 1941.
