Born at Kensington, London in 1886, son of Hugh Edmond F. M. Tyrel Depoix [q.v.] and his wife Eugenie Alice Wentworth née Pemberton (1854-1944), who married at Kensington in 1883. In 1891, a 4 year old living at Broome Place, Loddon, Bungay, Suffolk with his parents, 50 year old Edmond and 36 year old Eugenie, with three siblings and they kept five indoor servants. He was a Lieutenant in the Royal Garrison Artillery during the First World War. A member and exhibitor at the Woodpecker Art Club, later the Norfolk & Norwich Art Circle 1906-1953, from Bungay, Suffolk and Ditchingham, Norfolk and elected a member of the Royal Society of British Artists. He married at Kensington, London in 1953, Mary Bernardine Hutchinson (1899-1985) and he died at Tonbridge, Kent on 4 April 1966.
