Abbie Louise Thoms was born in the Bury St Edmund's district in April 1976, daughter of James William Thoms, a mechanical engineer, and his wife Mary P. H. née Baird, who married at Cuckfield, Sussex in 1972. Abbie studied at the University of East Anglia 1996-1998 obtaining a B.A. (hons) in Graphic Design. She has used the pseudonym 'Creativeborn' when working for a design company in Ipswich but decided to pursue a career as a full-time professional artist and graphic designer. Abbie uses acrylic paint, vivid colours with a brush, sometimes fingers, everyone sees something different in her work, Abbie is also a photographer, taking pictures on nature with diverse, colourful, and varied textures. A graphic designer and abstract painter but able to paint 'realistic' from her studio at Acton, near Sudbury, Suffolk and had her first exhibition Brick Lane Art Gallery in London in 2011.
