DENNIS, Niki
Nicola Dennis, known as Niki, was educated at Sandringham School, St Albans 1990-1997 and studied at Sussex University 1998-2001, gaining an B.A. in Anthropology. Niki next went to study art at Hertfordshire University 2010-2013, transferring to University Campus Suffolk in Ipswich 2013-2015 and awarded a first-class B.A. (hons) in Fine Art with her degree project based on cave paintings and carvings. Niki is painting on large canvases, using oil and acrylic paint as well as oil sticks and pastels, her work is spontaneous and an exercise in the imagination. She has exhibited at Contemporary British Painting in London; Childwickbury Arts Fair, St Albans; Court Farm Art Exhibition, Brighton and at Waterfront Gallery; Pretty's and the Subterranean Boulevard Gallery all three in Ipswich also at The Cut Halesworth, Suffolk.
